The newspaper “St. Galler Tagblatt” published an article about a study by the British meteorological service Met Office about improving weather forecasts. The article describes how Met Office used historical data in their research in order to make forecasts for winter weather up to four months in advance.

Long and continuous series of weather measurements are a valuable asset not only for meteorological studies, but also site evaluation, or power production estimates.

Together with the ECMWF Reanalysis Project ERA-Interim, we can offer you these time series for any coordinate worldwide. The time series are delivered to you in a common data format with a small memory footprint.
