From 17 May – 20 May 2016, in advance of the 4th Conference of the International Society for Atmospheric Research using Remotely-piloted Aircraft in Toulouse, Meteomatics presents its innovative Meteodrones. Besides the validation of sampling techniques, inter-comparisons with providers of various different aircrafts are scheduled. The Meteodrones, specifically developped for meteorological measurements up to 2 kilometers above the ground, thereby take up an absolutely exceptional position among the presented aircrafts.

Under the supervision of Météo France, the following conference from 23 May – 25 May 2016 in the International Conference Center in Toulouse serves as a platform for the atmospheric science community, industry representatives and government officials to promote the exchange of ideas, emerging technologies, sampling strategies, and experiences related to deploying UAS (unmanned aerial systems) in the field. Within the frame of this exchange of information, Christian Schluchter (Chief Science Officer Meteomatics) presents the developments and experiences of the Meteodrones and their milestones in the further development of drone based atmospheric measurements.
