World Solar Challenge 2015, 18th – 25th of October, Australia
For 7th time in a row the SolarCar Team of the Bochum University of Applied Sciences is taking part in the Solar Challenge in Australia. Mastering the 3000km from Darwin to Adelaide in one week, they are only allowed to charge their car once during the contest. Their SunRiser runs on solar power and may only once be charged externally during the race. Thus, it has to be able to master at least 1500km on its power reserves.
Meteomatics is proud to support the SolarCar Team with the Weather-API and wishes the team the best of luck!
