Meteomatics Wins Citatio’s Best Weather App 2026 Award

The Meteomatics Weather App has won the Best Weather App 2026 award from Citatio, an independent platform that ranks products using public customer reviews.

Citatio compared five weather apps for its 2026 ranking and scored each on how positively reviewers rated it across quality, value for money, delivery, customer service, and ordering & software.

Meteomatics finished first with a composite score of 73%, ahead of Tomorrow.io (63%), Foreca (59%), meteoblue (32%) and AccuWeather (11%).

Where Meteomatics Scored Highest

Meteomatics led the field on value for money, with 87% of relevant reviews rating it positively. Reviewers pointed to the ad-free experience and the straightforward subscription model. The app also ranked first for customer service (63%) and for ordering & software (66%), where users noted the clean interface and the option to swipe between saved locations.

On forecast quality, Meteomatics scored 66%, placing second behind Foreca (72%). Several reviewers reported that the app's forecasts were accurate more often than those of other apps they had used. One review on the Apple App Store described it as an app that "provides very accurate weather predictions."
