Quality Management
Meteomatics is dedicated to achieving continuous improvement in processes and products through a comprehensive quality management system.
Vision
We are the global leader in weather intelligence
Mission
We provide the most accurate weather data for any location at any time to improve our customers’ business.
Quality Policy
At Meteomatics we have set ourselves the goal of addressing and demystifying two particular issues. Firstly, the perception that the selection and delivery of quality weather data has to be complicated and difficult and secondly that hyperlocal weather forecasting is by its very nature unreliable and inexact.
To solve the first issue, we have developed our own unique API technology that allows straightforward real time interactions with huge volumes of weather data, slicing and dicing them and delivering only the specific data needed to answer our clients’ requests.
By incorporating the enhanced temporal and spatial data gathered by our own Meteodrones we are able to significantly improve hyperlocal weather forecast accuracy and reliability. We are continuously monitoring and improving our products to ensure they meet the high-quality demands.
Quality Management Principles
Our quality management principles represent a collection of norms, rules, and core beliefs derived from experiences and values, acknowledged as valid and utilized as the foundation for quality management practices.

Ensuring safety
Meteomatics prioritizes building strong relationships with customers, business partners, and colleagues, recognizing that trust is essential for success. We are committed to continuously enhancing the safety and reliability of our products and services, ensuring they meet or exceed both customer expectations and relevant legal and regulatory standards.
We follow the EN 9100 standard, which expands on the globally recognized ISO 9001 standard and includes additional requirements specific to aerospace quality management. Compliance with EN 9100 enables us to work closely and build strong relationships with interested parties, including customers, business partners, colleagues, manufacturers and suppliers.
We adhere to strict guidelines for traceability and risk assessment, ensuring that all resources acquired from third parties, such as raw materials, hardware, software, and weather data, meet rigorous production and distribution standards. Internal processes and teams also comply with EN 9100 requirements through detailed documentation, established processes, and analysis of key performance indicators to maintain the highest levels of quality.
The Quality Manager conducts ongoing assessments of all departments to ensure adherence to EN 9100 standards. She oversees and improves processes and documents the outcomes of the results. If necessary, she defines actions with the team to ensure continuous improvement.
To reinforce our commitment to quality and safety, we undergo annual audits by an external team from the BSI Group. These audits verify compliance with EN 9100 requirements and provide valuable feedback to identify areas for improvement.
